Summary: A case of fetal ascites diagnosed by ultrasonography at a gestational maturity of 16 weeks is described. Associated congenital abnormalities included asplenia, situs inversus, aneurysmal dilatation of the aorta, and fetal bradycardia. The pregnancy was terminated at 18 weeks.
