Summary: In the 3–9 months after first trimester therapeutic abortion at a freestanding, counsellor‐orientated hospital, the great majority of 309 randomly selected patients reported no physical, emotional or social repercussions. The negative effects reported by the remainder were predominantly of minor severity.
