Summary: In a series of 47 ectopic pregnancies occurring over a 2‐year period, 5 followed tubal sterilization. Foreknowledge of the previous sterilization resulted in delay of surgical management. Sterilization techniques should be revised to prevent the incidence of ectopic pregnancy.
