Summary: Although granular cell myoblastoma has been reported many times since its first description by Weber in 1854 and can no longer be regarded as a rarity, only a small number of these tumours have been described in gynaecological situations. Such a tumour arising in the labium majus is reported, and its pathogenesis, differential diagnosis, and treatment discussed.
