Summary: Synthetic progestin‐oestrogen therapy (Enavid) successfully controlled both menorrhagia and epistaxis over a span of 12 years in a patient with hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia. Severe menorrhagia ultimately developed, for which an emergency hysterectomy became necessary. In reviewing the literature, only 1 case of menorrhagia due to this condition has been found.
