Summary A case is presented of a 9,500 g. (19lb. 14oz.) dicephalic monster causing obstruction to delivery after birth of the first head. It is considered that the delivery of a double monster either before or during labour, if it is judged to be greater than 2500 g. (5lb. 8oz.), is best done by Caesarean section because of the high risk of maternal morbidity associated with vaginal delivery.
