Summary:1  Placenta accreta in a patient with intrauterine adhesions is reported. 2  Progressive difficulty with the third stage of labour culminated in hysterectomy in the fifth pregnancy. 3  It is likely that endometrial sclerosis predisposes to placenta accreta.
