Summary: A case has been reported of advanced tubal pregnancy. It was attended by the survival of the mother and, probably by the very nature of its mode of presentation, by survival of the child. Some diagnostic features of this unusual condition have been discussed in the light of previous reports of similar cases. Comment has been made on some clinical and radiographic features of the case.
