Summary: An analysis of 63 patients with tubal pregnancy is presented. The incidence in this series was 1:198 viable pregnancies. A review of the clinical features of ectopic pregnancy is given. The importance of early and adequate resuscitation in cases of rupture is stressed. Conservative surgery should be employed in a selected group of patients with tubal pregnancy. Eighteen patients who were followed became pregnant (40%), and 12 of these carried the pregnancy to term.
