BS 1006.E01 (1990) has been used to study the influence of pH when testing colour fastness to water. A comparison has been made with BS 1006:UK‐TB (1990). Perspirometer versus plate methods have been included in the evaluation together with a comparison of visual and instrumental assessment techniques.
