Colour appearance is an important area of research in colour science and has been investigated by many researchers in the literature. In this article Ronnier Luo reviews various assessment techniques and describes the LUTCHI data which he has been involved in accumulating over the past eight years, and which has been used to test various uniform colour spaces and colour appearance models.
