At a time when further technical training and education is strongly recommended for employees within the coloration industry, criticism is repeatedly levelled at members of higher management who have never undertaken formal management training. The result is that the younger company members who are learning new management techniques are actually being poorly managed by their superiors. Roger Wynne discusses the need for higher managers to resume training and considers some of the basic tools that are available to them.
