The experience of a firm of textile printers that installed a transfer‐paper printing unit, for their own benefit and that of their customers, is described. Such an arrangement benefits the printer as well as his customers, particularly in respect of the quality and speed of production. Research aimed at improved methods of transfer printing is facilitated. Problems associated with the printing of transfer papers are discussed, and developments in the machines used for this purpose are described.
