Pigment particles are incorporated in layers of polymer spread over wool fibres to achieve pastel colours of very high light and washing fastness. By the technique described, pigment particles are distributed evenly throughout the fibre assembly. Industrial‐scale trials have been made on wool top and woven fabric.
