Recent developments in textile printing by vapour‐phase transfer are described, and the scope and commercial prospects of the process, in the printing of fabrics and garments or garment pieces, are discussed. An experimental investigation has been carried out with special reference to the fastness properties of the prints, and recommendations are made for optimum conditions of processing and the selection of dyes for six different fibres.
