Stevenson (President of the Society) in the chair The importance of the setting of wool fibres on packages is discussed in relation to cloth manufacture and shrinkage in finishing. Some remarkable changes that come about in low‐temperature dyeing of wool when fibres are cleaned with various solvents are described.
