It is shown that the effectiveness of Chlorine in acid solution aa an anti‐felting agent for wool is independent of the liquor: wool ratio up to 100,000: 1. It is considered that this is further evidence for concluding that the reaction between wool bnd chloramines is not a simple chlorination.
