SPECIFICATION FOR VERTICAL AIR PHOTOGRAPHY

Following discussions which were held at the International Congress of Photogrammetry in 1976, an attempt has been made to produce a standard document which could form part of every international tender for air survey photography. A draft version of the specification, prepared by the British Air Survey Association, provided the basis for the discussion at a Technical Meeting of the Photogrammetric Society. The revised version of the specification printed here incorporates amendments arising from comments made both at that meeting and received from other sources. Résumé A la suite de discussions qui eurent lieu au Congrés International de Photogrammétrie en 1976, on a fait un essai de production d'un document‐standard qui pourrait faire partie de toute soumission internationale de levé aérophotogrammétrique. Une première version de la spécification, préparée par l'Association Britannique de levés aérophotogrammétriques, servit de fondations à la discussion d'une réunion de la Societé Photogram‐métrique. La version revue de la spécification imprimée ici comprend les commentaires faits à cette reunion et recus ailleurs. Zusammenfassung Im Anschluss an auf dem Internationalen Kongress für Photogrammetrie im Jahre 1976 geführte Diskussionen wurde der Versuch gemacht, ein Standarddokument zu erarbeiten, das Bestandteil jedes internationalen Angebots für Luftbildaufnahmen sein könnte. Ein Entwurf der Anforderungen, die von der British Air Survey Association erarbeitet wurden, bildete die Diskussionsgrundlage auf der Versammlung der Photogrammetric Society. Die hier wiedergegebenen überarbeiteten Anforderungen enthalten sowohl die auf der Versammlung als auch die aus anderen Quellen erhaltenen Kommentare.
