The Technical Meeting of the Society, held on 16th December, 1969, took the form of a discussion between members of the Society, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Institution of Highway Engineers. Several topics of importance to surveying and highway design were considered, including the questions of accuracy, the use of Ordnance Survey maps, checking, height information, specifications and the communication of new ideas and information to engineers, surveyors and photogrammetrists working in this field.
