Ordnance Survey experimental work has shown that colour film developed to a reversed positive image is best suited to the photogrammetric problems of large‐scale mapping. Tests have shown no difference in accuracy between maps produced from colour photography and those produced from monochrome photography. The economy of using colour photography in this field has yet to he demonstrated.
