SUMMARY It has been shown in this article that neither the flexure of photographic plates nor the photogrammetric errors arising therefrom are negligible. Modes of support (a), (b) and (c) shown in Fig. 2 have been studied in some detail. Model, orientation and aerotriangulation errors arising from flexure under these modes have been investigated and methods of eliminating or reducing them have been given.
