The Interregional Seminar on Land Information Management in the Developing World was jointly hosted by the United Nations and the Government of Australia. The seminar sought to highlight the achievements, issues and developments relating to Land Information Management (LIM) with particular reference to developing countries and formulated a series of recommendation on future uses of LIM in the context of the needs of developing countries.
