As in my previous notes (Ibis, 1942, pp. 83–90), the information on distribution and breeding is supplementary to that given in Winterbottom's ‘Check List of the Birds of Northern Rhodesia’. My 1941 notes in ‘The Ibis’ (I) dealt with a wider area, but these are restricted to the Chambeshi River area in the Northern Province and to the upper Luangwa River area in the Northern and Eastern Provinces.
