Summary. Although the number of specimens examined was small, the results show that:— 1. The bulk of the food consists of insects, and of these the majority are injurious. 2. No honey‐bees were found in my of the stomachs. 3. The percentages of parasitic and beneficial insects was small. 4. The economic status of the two species investigated may be expressed as follows: 80 per cent. of their food is beneficial, 6 per cent. injurious, and 14 per cent of a neutral Uature.
