Summary Nonablative radiofrequency was the first method of noninvasive tissue contraction. It is a safe and effective method, although the results are modest when compared with plastic surgery. Patients like the fact that it requires no down time, it is performed with topical anesthesia, and it can be combined with numerous other modalities of skin rejuvenation. Technique and results are discussed.
