The main autoregulation parameters of the lactic acid fermentation using an untypical producer, Bacillus coagulans , were studied with the help of NMR spectroscopy. Some important intermediate concentrations, estimated in different process conditions, indicate a key role of phosphofructokinase and pyruvate kinase in the glycolytic flux of B. coagulans cells.
