Isolation of Clostridium botulinum from tropical fish

Thirty‐two samples of fish and shell‐fish were examined for the presence of Clostridium botulinum. Clostridium botulinum type B was detected in one sample. Clostridium botulinum type E was not found in any of the samples tested.
