The ability of common Fusarium species to grow on tannin‐sucrose agar

Of the 11 Fusarium species investigated, eight species were able to grow on tannin‐sucrose agar, whereas three species were unable to grow on this medium. The difference in growth response proved to be an additional character usable for identification of Fusarium species.
