— Separation of 2′‐adenosine monophosphate from 2′,3′‐cyclic adenosine monophosphate by coprecipitation with a number of salt mixtures was examined and found to be most successful with Na 2 CO 3 /CdCl 2 and Na 2 CO 3 /ZnSO 4 . A simple and rapid assay for 2′,3′‐cyclic nucleotide 3′‐phosphohydrolase using coprecipitation with Na 2 CO 3 /CdCl 2 is described.
