— The molecular weight of choline acetyltransferase (ChAc) was determined by using a variety of methods. A molecular weight of 68,000 daltons was found. ChAc is a globular protein with an apparent radius of 3.39 nm (value of the Stokes radius). The existence of a dimeric form and higher aggregates is discussed
