Disappearance of fetal choroid plexus cysts during the second trimester in cases of chromosomal abnormality

We report two cases in which isolated choroid plexus cysts (CPC) disappeared in the second trimester of pregnancy and were associated with chromosomal abnormahty (trisomy 21 and trisomy 18). In the trisomy 21 fetus the CPC was small (2.3 mm) and unilateral.
