This article presents the case of a 15-year-old girl who became pregnant via the proximal gastrointestinal tract. This was discovered 278 days following discharge from the hospital after undergoing surgery for an abdominal stab wound. After several inquiries it was determined that the girl had performed fellatio on her boyfriend before the stabbing occurred. A plausible explanation for this pregnancy is that spermatozoa gained access to the reproductive organs via the injured gastrointestinal tract. 8 months later the patient complained of pain in the lower abdomen. The proximal vagina was found to be filled with old blood during an attempt to construct a vagina. Another reconstruction was attempted a few months later after the patient complained of lower abdominal pain. The girl was found to have a stenosed vagina. High doses of depot medroxyprogesterone were used to induce amenorrhea since the patient refused to have a hysterectomy.
