Summary. Saline, 6% or 32% dextran was instilled into the peritoneal cavity of rabbits after salpingostomy of experimentally induced hydrosalpinx. Moderate or severe adhesions recurred in 40% of rabbits. Adhesions occurred with similar frequency in the three treatment groups.
