Summary A patient with hyperprolactinaemia and anovulation is described. Ovulation was induced with bromocriptine and the ensuing pregnancy caused rapid deterioration of vision and neurosurgical intervention. The management of hyperprolactinaemic infertility and the complications occurring during pregnancy in these patients are discussed.
