Summary Two patients who had previously been sterilized by the application of Hulka‐Clemens spring‐loaded clips to the Fallopian tubes, had a vaginal hysterectomy. In each patient a clip that was left attached to its tubal remnant was spontaneously extruded through the vaginal vault during the postoperative period.
