Summary The obstetric performance of 19 patients with fully documented cyanotic congenital heart disease was analyzed. There were 50 pregnancies in the decade 1962 to 1972 with no maternal death. The results support the views that pregnancy is not contra‐indicated, that therapeutic abortion is not indicated, and that the offspring of these mothers are below average birthweight
