Summary Termination of pregnancy was performed in 38 patients, by the extra‐amniotic administration of prostaglandin E 2 (PGE 2 ) and the intravenous administration of oxytocin. All patients aborted within 32 hours with a mean induction‐abortion interval of 13 . 7 hours.
