Summary The urine/serum ratios of seven proteins of varying molecular weight have been determined in patients with pre‐eclampsia, using radial immunodiffusion. A linear excretion pattern of protein clearance on molecular weight has been confirmed in pregnancy proteinuria. Protein selectivity indices, based on this relationship have been derived for each patient with pre‐eclampsia and were found to lie in the intermediate range of selectivity.
