Summary Tuboplastic operations were performed in sixty consecutive cases of tubal factor sterility. These operations comprised 23 of salpingolysis, 30 of salpingostomy, 7 of tubo‐uterine implantation, and 2 of end‐to‐end anastomosis. The patency rate in the first group was 78 per cent with a 30 per cent pregnancy rate. In the other three types, patency rated 57 per cent while the pregnancy rate was 10 per cent. The selection of cases for surgery and the advisability of repeat tuboplasty are discussed. The chances of success may be improved by the use of intraperitoneal low molecular dextran at operation.
