Summary Over a period of three years 910 patients have been subjected to laparoscopic sterilization of which 443 have had a follow‐up hysterosalpingogram. The results are discussed. Laparoscopic sterilization is safe and efficient. With only 24 to 36 hours in hospital the method is acceptable to women with home responsibilities. Bridge Hospital, County Durham.
