A vaginal dilator is a medical tool used to space or stretch the pelvic floor muscles and vaginal tissues. The dilators are designed with or without handles. The handled dilators can make it easier to stretch the pelvic floor muscles or reach deep trigger points. Non handled dilators are commonly used more for spacing or less intense stretching or trigger point release of the pelvic floor muscles.
