Co‐operative pre‐schools offer parents the option of.exchanging volunteer labour for price savings. Relative to private pre‐schools, co‐ops have lower tuition, lower teacher‐student ratio, more field trips, less structure, shorter sessions, and less emphasis on school readiness.
