A base skin resistance galvanic skin reflex (B/GSR) module combined BSR and GSR activity into a 1‐channel recording. Three identical modules were used to record 3 sites simultaneously on a series of normal subjects. Electrode sites included bilateral palmar locations and a location just beneath the medial malleolus. The GSR amplification factor was a fixed value of 3.0. The units provided a generally satisfactory combined record of BSR and reflex activity. The BSR and GSR patterns observed simultaneously from 3 sites consistently showed very similar changes. Four distinct B/GSR activity patterns were identified.
