SUMMARY A child is described who has skeletal malformations, gelastic epilepsy, precocious puberty and a hypothalamic hamartoma. The skeletal abnormalities were detected at birth. she developed gelastic epilepsy at the age of 3 years 5 months and precocious puberty at 3 years 8 months. A hypothalamic hamartoma was found on MRI. The precocious puberty has been successfully medically managed, though her seizures are difficult to control. The Combination of all four features has not been described previously. RÉSUMÉ Hamartome hypothalamique avec malformations squelettiques, epilepsie gelastique et puberte prkcoce L'article rapporte le cas d'une enfant presentant des malformations squelettiques, une epilepsie gelastique, une puberti precoce et un hamartome hypothalamique. Les anomalies squelettiques furent observees des la naissance, I'epilepsie gelastique apparut A I'ige de 3 ans 5 mois et la puberte precoce a 3 ans 8 mois. Un hamartome hypothalamique fut decouvert a I'IRM. La puberte precoce fut corrigee medicalement avec sucres mais les crises comitiales furent difficiles a contrdler. La combinaison des quatre caracteristiques principales n'avait pas kte decrite jusqu'ii ce jour ZUSAMMENFASSUNG Hypothalamisches Hamartom mil Skelettmipbildungen, gelastischer Epilepsie und Pubertas praecox Es wird ein Kind mit SkelettmiObildung, gelastischer Epilepsie, Pubertas praecox und Hamartom des Hypothalamus beschrieben. Die SkeIettmiObildungen wurden bei der Geburt festgestellt, mit 3 Jahre und 5 Monate entwickelte das Kind eine gelastische Epilepsie und mit 3 Jahre und 8 Monate eine Pubertas praecox. Im MRI fand sich ein Hamartom des Hypothalamus. Die Pubertas praecox konnte medikamentos erfolgreich behandelt werden, die Anfdle sind jedoch schwer unter Kontrolle zu bringen. Die Kombination dieser vier Merkmale ist bisher noch nicht beschrieben worden. RESUMEN Hamartoma hipotalamico con tnalformaciones esqueleticas. epilec in gelastica y pirbertad precoz Se describe un nillo con malformaciones esqueleticas, epilepsia gelactica, pubertad precoz y hamartoma hipotalamico. Las anomalias esqueleticas fueran detectddas al nacer, desarrollo una epilepsia gelastica a la edad de 3 aflos y 5 meses, y pubertad precoL a 10s 3 ailos y 8 meses. A la RM se ha116 un hamartoma hipotalAmico. La pubertad precoz sc !rat6 con exit0 medicamente perosus convulsiones son dificiles d e controlar. La combinacion d e la. cuatro alteraciones n o ha sido descrita previamente.
