SUMMARY Details are given of a child with hydranencephaly and infantile spasms. A brain‐stem origin for the motor phenomenon of infantile spasms is suggested. L'origine sous‐corticale des phénomènes moteurs est suggérée. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG BNS‐Krämpfe bei Hydranencephalie: Bericht über einen Fall Es wird ausfuhrlich über ein Kind mit BNs‐Krämpfen und Hydranencephalie berichtet. Es wird angenommen, daß der Ursprung für die motorischen Phänomene subcortical gelegen ist.
