SUMMARY A fourth‐century Romano‐British decapitated inhumation is described. It had multiple abnormalities, the most important of which were a shoulder injury, shortening of the left upper and lower limbs, and chronic infective lesions of the left leg and right foot. The diagnosis of obstetrical shoulder trauma and tuberculous infection of left knee and right tarsal joints is presented and discussed.
