A F urther case, in addition to the one described by Gibson, Taylor and Richardson (1961), where the symptoms were strongly suggestive of arterio‐venous aneurysm giving rise to the syndrome of expansion of the skull and dilatation of the scalp veins in the absence of increased ventricular pressure, was reported. Air pictures suggested defective absorption of CSF through the arachnoid villi.
