S ummaryGlomus tubiforme Tandy, a white sporocarpic species with chlamydospores about 20 to 45 × 18 to 38 μm and fine hyphae ± 2 μm wide, forms ectomycorrhizas in association with a range of plants including Eucalyptus, Pinus and Quercus . The mycorrhizas have a thin sheath, one to a few cells thick, and a Hartig net. Glomus tubiforme has also been grown in agar culture on simple weak media.
