S ummary A system is described which uses a combination of solenoid valves under the control of a microprocessor unit and flow‐controllers to provide fumigation chambers with accurately controlled fluctuating concentrations of SO 2 for long periods. The system is versatile, both within the specific experimental requirements for which it was built and for other applications.
