S ummary Respiratory enzymes of the glycolytic, pentose‐phosphate pathways and Krebs cycle were detected in cell‐free preparations from cultured callus tissues of potato and artichoke tubers. Some of the enzymes functioning in glycolytic or pentose‐phosphate pathways seemed to be associated with a particulate preparation.
